Flatulence in Angola

Surgical building at CEML

Monday morning patients lining up

One that got away
  • Currently in Angola, connected to internet via satellite.
  • Weather is gorgeous here, seldom do we see a single cloud in the sky.
  • Seeing a lot of sad cases of cancers in the hospital where patients show up when the cancer is far beyond repair.
  • Going to pizza party tonight with MAF pilots and their fams.
  • Playing hospitalist, surgeon, anaesthetist, GP, nurse, etc.

Yesterday my buddy (Dave) and I were taking a break right outside the hospital (near the patient rooms) and this foul spell saturates the breezy air.

"Man.. did they just open a colostomy bag? That smells putrid!" I exclaim

Ühh, no mate, that was me" replies Dave.

I proceed to re-enter the hospital for "clean" air.
