How to fold a shirt

This looks cool 'cause she pulls a perfectly folded shirt out of apparent confusion. Place the shirt face up, reach for the side away from you, and then start folding. ..it really works!

Thursday AM ride

Here ya go G.. We had Thrs morning off so a few of us went for a ride just outside the city - not quite countryside yet. I've also yet to go check out the coast. From what I've seen so far though, there are far less trees here than on CB. The rolling hills aren't as elevated as the ones in CB. On the ride: Dayne, Martin, myself.

My digs

Victoria Lodge; apartment style complex with 3-5 rooms per unit. Building is only 2 yrs old. 10 minute walk from campus. 30mins from downtown. There's a bit of sunshine peeking in from the left.

The common area in my unit that I share with 2.5 other guys. I took this pic 2 minutes after the one above, and it went from sunshine to rain already.

Our messy kitchen

My room

..and 10 mins after the living room photo, it's sunny again!

My ensuite (every room has its own)

5 for fighting

I got an email this morning informing me that because of a fighting incident last night, I've been suspended for 3 games from an inter-church hockey league in Toronto. Interesting (considering I'm overseas at the moment). The commish obviously got me mixed up with this other Ian Lau that's been running amuck in their rec league.

First off, I think 3 games is very light considering the nature of the league. I've played a few games with them before and it's a laugher! If you're looking for hockey you couldn't take less seriously (from an emotional standpoint), this is it. I mean there's nothing on the line worth losing your cool over, and I hear he was going after people without much provocation.

Buddy needs to chill.. cuz if he doesn't get it under control, his barbaric behaviour will soon have him beating on (or beat up by) girls in the streets of Toronto. (Check out The Star to see which loser I'm referring to. Or if that article isn't up anymore, the original is at citynoise.org)
